Growing Australian native plants from seed|Australian native flower and grass seed for sale

Sustainability

I am committed to sustainability in my personal and business life.

  • All flower seeds and grass seeds have been grown by me in my backyard patch. If you have any questions about my growing practices, please don't hesitate to contact me.
  • All seeds are open pollinated, which means they grow "identical" to their parent. This allows the seeds to be subsequently grown and saved by you.
  • All packaging, apart from the plastic sleeve (which keeps the seed dry), can be thrown into the compost.

Shipping

  • $3.00 Shipping (Large Letter, Australia Post, no tracking) on most orders.
  • I am a one-person band. All seeds are hand-grown, hand-harvested, hand-packaged and dispatched by, you guessed it, me.
  • Orders will be dispatched within one or two days of your order being received and paid for.
  • You will be notified as soon as possible if there is a delay or problem fulfilling your order.
  • Seed packets are enclosed in a plastic sleeve to keep them dry during their journey to you. Please re-use the plastic sleeve to collect or share seed!
  • Your order will be posted via Australia Post with stamps, where possible - not a barcode. Each selection of stamps is specially chosen for you.
  • Australia Post delivery times may vary due to "postal load" and national or world events that are beyond my control.
  • My apologies, but I am unable to post seeds to Tasmania, Western Australia or overseas due to quarantine restrictions.

FAQ

  • Seeds dispatched represent my most recent harvest and I conduct viability tests ahead of each season.
  • Remember that your local seasonal conditions vary, and your local conditions should always be considered when planting your seeds. I am always happy to answer any questions, so please don't hesitate to contact me with your queries.
  • My personal guarantee to you is that if for any reason you are not happy with your seeds, I will happily replace them.
  • All flower seeds and grass seeds have been grown by me in my backyard patch.
  • Hand-cleaned seeds often include a small amount of chaff (petals and husks). This doesn't affect the viability of the seed. Seed counts are checked regularly.
  • If you have seeds left-over, store them in a cool, dark, dry place with an even temperature. Alternatively, just share them with your friends and family.
  • At checkout, Quantity = number of packets of seeds.
