Giving back to your community

A selection of seeds was sent to Gippsland Lakes Complete Health who is involved in the delivery of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program to 17 schools in East Gippsland. The program aims to bring healthy eating choices into schools and homes, and requires schools to provide sustainable garden beds to grow produce that can later be harvested and made into healthy food for children to try.

In my Community Garden, we have a diverse range of gardeners from around the world. We share seeds, seedlings, food and help each other in the garden, adding to what is a vibrant and vital part of our community. This is Buddhi and I in the garden.
